Plumcot

Plumcot

The plumcot is a cross between a plum and an apricot of equal portion.  The plumcot has a plumlike shape that ripens with a smooth dark skin, but when you take a bight  it has an incomparable blend of fruit juices.  Mature Plumcots will grow to a height of 20 feet and comparable width, but can be kept smaller if pruned like other stone fruit trees.  Hardy to Zone 5.
