The Frans Fontaine is a narrower and more compact variety of columnar hornbeam. A medium sized tree that grows to 40 feet tall broadens to 20 feet as it matures. The green leaves through the summer turn yellow in the fall. A classic, narrow, neat tree for any landscape and garden.
